I specifically appreciate the first bullet, The Long Tail. Nowadays, too many people are focused on trying to get the attention of influencers (or so-called a-listers) to get their company, blog, or SM strategy some push. You end up with a broadcast message rather than trying to connect with the long tail of users that you mention, the ones that want to participate and ones that can be an integral part of your own community.</description>
