Yes, you can engage from within the console on all media types.  For a blog, when you want to engage/comment, the console will render the post for you in a window much like it would in a browser (so you can see the whole post and any existing comments, etc.).  You can comment from within the window and the comment is saved &amp; noted in the console for your record.  You can also leave notes in the system, assign, classify content, etc., equally with all media types.
