New Features in Radian6 Engagement Console: Keyword Group Support, Macro Sorting and Sharing, and More

The holidays are just around the corner, but it may feel like they have arrived this morning. First, we announced the release of new dashboard features and now we have some wicked cool items to share with you on the Engagement Console, which will be updated shortly.  Thanks to your feedback since we announced the Engagement Console this past Spring, we have jazzed it up with some fresh release items we want to share with you.

Enterprise Customization

  • Keyword Group Support: Building on the new keyword group features now available in your Topic Profiles, you have the ability to choose whether you would like to see your entire Topic Profile or specific keyword groups, enabling you to better segment your data for engagement.

  • Custom Date Range: Avoid Monday morning blues and view all conversations over a specific date range. This feature is great for looking at and responding to bulk or related topic conversations, as well as applying workflow operations to historical content.

  • Twitter Author Quick Search: Easily view complete author profile information within the stack and manage media actions, such as follow, unfollow or respond.

  • Macro Sorting and Sharing: Easily build and share macros to consistently handle the workflow of specific conversations by sharing customized tagging and classification details with all members of your community team and/or all people engaging on behalf of your organization.

  • Twitter Retweet Support: You now have the choice to use the traditional “RT” when re-tweeting or you can use the new native Twitter function withing the console.  RT functionality is still available though, with the re-post button.

  • User Assignment Quick Search: If you are a large organization fully engaging and assigning posts, being able to quickly find the right person to review/respond is key. Now, when you click within the “Assign to” field, not only will you get a drop down of names but you’ll also have the ability to search for a specific user by name.  Online users are displayed in orange at the top of the list, which is refined once you begin typing in the name of a user.
  • Keyboard Shortcuts: Big event? Tons of tweets you need to tag all the same? With added Keyboard Shortcuts you can use “Ctrl+A” to mass select an entire stack of posts.
  • Multiple Topic Profile Support: Need to monitor more then one Topic Profile but want it all to flow through one stack? On the back side of Radian6 stacks you can use the “Ctrl” key to select multiple Topic Profiles from your available list. This will cause all results from across those Topic Profiles to appear.
  • Configurable User Profiles: As a Super User you can now “Manage Team”. What this means is that you can set up Workspaces & Permissions for your different users by selecting the stacks you would like them to see, whether or not they can create new stacks or have access to such stacks as Twitter or Facebook. You can even control who can respond to and assign posts. This capability truly enables Super Users to take control of defining how each of their team members uses the platform.

Enterprise Extensibility

We’ve designed new platform capabilities so third-party developers can customize the Engagement Console and integrate with third-party solutions. Custom command and UI scripts can extend functionality, including the ability to drive other processes through third-party integrations. The extensibility option can be activated by Super Users and then provisioned to other Console users.

Enhanced Capabilities

Easily configure the Engagement Console to set preferences for various settings and individual services offered, such as notification preferences to view visual alerts or audio notifications when the Console Workspace is not in focus, and have even workflow notifications sent to you via email. For those organizations that require secure login due to their internal regulation, we have added an extra layer of security that can be set based on your security preference.

Get up to speed…

Now, we know your just itching to go into the platform and try out these exciting new features. Ensure you and your team are ready to have fun splicing and dicing by attending one of our Radian6 Training webinars highlighting all the new Dashboard and Engagement Console features.
