Business Development Manager (UK)
Location: Elstree, UK
Radian6 is the Industry’s leading social-media monitoring platform, used by more than half of FORTUNE 100 companies to monitor, analyze and engage in social media conversations. Acquisition will enhance all Salesforce products – adding social intelligence across the Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter and Force.com platform. Combination of salesforce.com and Radian6 will bridge the conversations happening on public social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter, and salesforce.com’s private, secure corporate social network, Chatter.

This role is responsible for attracting new business and the growth of our current customer base.
Core Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Actively and effectively promote Radian6 to targeted key accounts and develop and grow the associated pipeline.
- Maximize sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Ensure maximum personal effectiveness through excellent communication and professional web based presentations while making recommendations for process improvements.
- Hunt new business and/or grow an existing customer base of multi-national, multi-site organizations by nurturing relationships with clients to understand their business needs and requirements.
Education/Experience
- A degree in a related field.
- Business-to-business (b2b) sales and account management experience, preferably in the technology sector.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven ability to interact directly with senior executives in customer organizations, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated customer-facing skills including expectation management, communication skills, information management.
- Proven leadership, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success with sales quotas.
