Business Information Security Officer
Location: Saint John, NB
Radian6 is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Information Security Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the security integration for Radian6 into Salesforce.com (SFDC);
- Identify and pursue strategies to align with and leverage SFDC security services;
- Provide technical and risk management security leadership within Radian6;
- Conduct security and compliance risk assessments. Develop metrics & management reporting on security effectiveness;
- Manage security certification / compliance efforts and ensure their sustainability;
- Engage with business leadership to agree on risk remediation priorities;
- Ensure compliance with applicable SFDC policies and standards;
- Manage security remediation projects / activities. Initiate investments as appropriate;
- Continuously improve security and compliance process maturity;
- Collaborate on defining company wide security policies and investment priorities;
- Act as the primary information security contact for Radian6;
- Ensure that Radian6 application security practices are leading and sustainable;
- Consult with development teams on security architecture and requirements;
- Engage with customers to represent the security and compliance controls at Radian6;
- Maintain current on security and threat trends, research, etc. and implement a proactive strategy to minimize avoidable security & compliance risk;
- Take accountability for incident / threat monitoring and response activities;
- Develop security awareness / training programs; and
- Oversee crisis management, business continuity planning and disaster recovery.
Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or related discipline (masters preferred);
- Senior information security technologist with 10+ years combined security and technology experience;
- Excellent presentation / communication skills;
- Wide and deep understanding of security architectures and tools;
- Understanding of the compliance and regulatory environment related to security and privacy;
- Proven ability to program manage complicated initiatives;
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals including developers, executives, customers, regulators, etc.;
- Previous team leadership experience;
- Security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISA, etc.) are preferred; and
- Hands on experience and the ability to work in a dynamic development environment are critical.
