For U.S.- and Canada-based customers, Radian6 pricing starts at $500 per month, per profile for up to 10,000 net new monthly results (individual posts that match your overall profile keywords), and $100 per month, per user ID. We charge based on monthly volume of results, not keywords or individual subjects, so you can include as many relevant and related search terms as you like within each profile.
Profile pricing scales on a graduated scale according to monthly result volume:
- up to 10,000 results – $500/month
- up to 25,000 results – $1000/month
- up to 50,000 results – $1500/month
Above 50,000 results, topic profile pricing increases $500/month for every additional 50,000 results.
Profiles initially include 30 days of historical data (with more available on request), and infinite access to aggregated historical data on your active profiles (so your total available results for search and analysis accumulate each month, indefinitely).
We also offer a 50% discount for registered non-profits; ask your account representative for more details.
We ask you to sign a simple user agreement when you join us. It’s on a month by month basis, so you can cancel at the end of any month if we’re not right for you (which means no long term commitments).

A profile is a collection of key words and phrases you determine in order to search the breadth and depth of a brand or subject of interest. Keywords are unlimited; you can specify any number of keywords across as many related subjects as you like, and use boolean operators (like AND, OR, and AND NOT) in order to refine your keyword set. You can also create groups of keywords inside a topic profile to help filter and organize your results.
We sure do. We ask users to attend a free, one-hour web-based training session before receiving their trial account logins. Radian6 is an in-depth system, and we can help get your trial started off on the right foot by walking you through the platform basics, and offering a few tips and tricks to help. Don’t worry, there’s no high pressure sales pitch here. We’re just making sure you have a chance to ask questions and get a thorough guided tour before setting off to explore on your own.
Once you complete the initial one hour training session for Radian6, you can immediately start tracking your topics. We’re a web based platform, which means there’s no software to download and install, and you can access your account from anywhere you have an internet connection and a web browser.
Radian6 covers over 100 million sources each day, including the broadest available coverage of:
- Blogs
- Mainstream online news, such CNN.com
- Video and Photo sharing sites, like Flickr and YouTube
- Micromedia, including Twitter and Friendfeed
- Forums and Discussion Boards
- Blog comments
- Facebook public discussion forums
Radian6 uses a combination of RSS and other data feeds in addition to proprietary crawlers in order to index the entire social web. If data is available publicly, we’ll capture it. (That also means that data the community trusts to stay behind a wall, will; we don’t crawl or capture sites like private portions of Facebook, private communities, or anything like that.) We capture over 6 million on-topic posts and comments each day, filter out the spam and irrelevant data, and deliver results to you in near real time.

We do rolling updates to our software approximately every two weeks, with major feature enhancements and additions every two months. We announce new features via email to our users, as well as on our PowerShift blog and our monthly email newsletter.
We include a basic training session when you first start out that helps you understand the various capabilities of the platform. Videos and FAQs on the various aspects of the service are also available from within the dashboard for you to review any time you’d like.
We’ve also got a dedicated support team on hand Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. They’re on tap to help answer questions or troubleshoot. And you can always send an email to support@radian6.com and we’ll respond, usually within 24 hours (except on weekends and holidays, when response times may vary slightly).
