Utilities
Engagement Console Utility Extensions help make everyday tasks easier by enabling you to perform them all in one place.
Access this section using the Extension Gallery button on your Engagement Console, then either scroll down to the Utilities section, or use the handy shortcut link in the top right hand corner.
Create an Extension from a URL
Is there a particular website that you often have open during the course of your day-to-day? Add this utility as a command or macro, enter the desired URL, and just like that you have a custom website stack within your Engagement Console. If you want to get extra fancy, you can even enter the default stack size.
Search Twitter for Top Mentioned Hashtags
This utility makes searching for top mentioned hastags that much easier. Let’s say you’re looking for a post with a few different hashtags to see similar posts. Instead of typing them into the search bar yourself, install this Utility as a Macro and voila – a Twitter stack that searches for those exact hashtags, all in one click.
Launch Twitter Conversation
Looking to see both sides of the conversation between Twitter users, including those that might fall outside the scope of your Topic Profile? This Utility Extension takes the usernames in a particular post and launches a Twitter conversation stack which shows the back and forth between those users.
Twitter Trending Topics
Want to keep track of the current Twitter Trending Topics right from your Engagement Console? By adding the Twitter Trending Topics Extension you can do just that. This Utility creates a refreshable stack that will pull in exactly what’s currently trending on Twitter.
Email Selected Posts
Have you ever found a social media post you’d like to share with someone by email, but don’t want to bother with screenshots or copying and pasting? Well then, here’s the Utility Extension for you. Email the exact text of one or multiple posts from within the Engagement Console itself.
Engagement Console users can contact their account manager to learn more or get started right away by clicking the Extensions logo in the top right hand corner of the Engagement Console. Or, if you’re new to Radian6, click below to get started with us.
